Brenda L. (Libbey) Teachout

Brenda L. (Libbey) Teachout, 63, a lifelong resident of Upton, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in Milford Regional Medical Center with her loving family at her side after a year-long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Clifton C. Teachout, Jr.
Mrs. Teachout was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice (Prentiss) Libbey. She was a Class of 1964 graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School and had been an assembly worker at Fenwal in Ashland for 33 years. She loved reading, gardening, and crocheting, and especially enjoyed time spent with her family.
In addition to her husband of 42 years, she leaves one son, Jeffrey Teachout and his wife Cindy of Upton; a brother, William Libbey of Salisbury; and many nieces and nephews. Another brother, Frank "Bucky" Libbey, died earlier this year in Florida.
