Bradford D. Libbey, 63, a lifelong Upton resident, died early Tuesday, August 26, in Milford Regional Medical Center.
Brad was born in Milford, a son of the late Arah and Frances (Ryder) Libbey. He attended Upton public schools and worked as a clerk at Honey Farms in West Upton for many years. A former owner of Lib's Lounge in Upton, he enjoyed coin collecting, playing cards, watching sports, and going to car shows. He was a participant in the Upton Men's softball league for Upton Merchants and enjoyed having breakfast or lunch at The Coffee Bean as well as Rebecca's of Upton.
He leaves his wife of 11 years, Maria (Goncalves) Libbey of Grafton; a son, Justin Libbey of Templeton and his girlfriend Tara Dewitt of Templeton; one daughter, Justine Earl and her husband Eric Earl of Milford; a stepson, Gean Rodrigues of Grafton; one brother, Kenneth Libbey of Upton; his sister Phyllis Winn, nephew Bredin Winn, niece Christine Winn, and great-nephews Braeden and Brody Winn, all of Milford; and his granddaughter Gianna Earl of Milford. He was also the brother of the late Karen Heinis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Upton Fire & EMS Association Jaws of Life Fund, Box 580, Upton 01568.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 3 at 11 a.m.
in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street, Upton.
