Blanche F. (Hall) Grenier

Blanche F. (Hall) Grenier, 87, a longtime resident of Upton, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her daughter's home in Cherry Valley after an illness. She worked for Hanover Insurance in Worcester for 20 years, retiring in 1992.

Blanche was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Maurice and Aurora (Belanger) Hall, and was a 1946 graduate of Grafton High School. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish and a member of the Upton Woman's Club, the Red Hat Society, and the Westboro Chorus.

She leaves four daughters, Terri Smith and her husband Ian of Middleborough, Maureen Croteau and her husband Arthur of Cherry Valley, Diane Hubbard and her husband Gerald of Bridgton, ME, and Claire Flynn and her husband William of Uxbridge; a brother and a sister, Maurice Hall and Constance Noel, both of Upton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Louise Grenier and the sister of the late Donald and Donalee Hall and Muriel Frederico.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.

Service Details

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17
from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton,
with a funeral mass at 11 a.m. in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church,
151 Mendon St., Upton.

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.

Calling hours at the funeral home are from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
on Wednesday, prior to the mass.
