Billy D. Lindsey, 74, of Bellingham, and formerly of Ripley, MS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie J. (French) Lindsey.
Born in Ripley, Mississippi, he was a son of the late William and Bonnie (Murry) Lindsey and was raised and educated in Ripley, MS.
Mr. Lindsey proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a service technician for Interstate Food Service.
Billy enjoyed spending time on the Cape Cod Canal, fishing, being on any body of water, and cherished the time spent with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Koshivas and her husband John, of Franklin, and Marsha Lindsey of Florida; his mother-in-law, Brenda Thompson of Upton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Charles Lindsey, and his father-in-law George Thompson.
At Billy’s request, funeral services will take place privately with family.
