Betty C. (Michel) Labaire

Betty C. (Michel) LaBaire, 98, died Friday, November 9, 2007 at Westborough Healthcare Center in Westborough.
Born in Worcester in 1909, she was the daughter of the late Eva and Michael Michel. She attended Worcester schools and resided in Worcester, Auburn, and Westborough. Her husband, Ernest L. LaBaire, died in 1980 shortly after they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Betty was a former member of the Packachoag PTA and the Elm Hill Civic Club. She was a founding member of the North American Martyrs Parish in Auburn. For the past ten years, she was a communicant of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish in Westborough.
She is survived by her sons, P. Michael LaBaire and his wife Jacqueline of Upton, and Jeffrey S. LaBaire and his wife Cindy of Holland; her four grandchildren, Rev. Steven M. LaBaire, pastor of Saint Mary's Church in Uxbridge, Mark LaBaire, USN of Norfolk, VA, Diana LaBaire of Southbridge, and Michelle Petraitis of North Brookfield; and 3 great-grandchildren.
At Betty's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Luke's Parish Outreach or to the Martha & Mary Ministry of Saint Luke's Parish, 70 West Main St., Westborough, MA 01581.
Following cremation, burial will take place at a later date
in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.

Service Details
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her grandson at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 12 in Saint Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough.Following cremation, burial will take place at a later date
in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
