Ann L. (Linberger) Troyan, 92, peacefully passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 surrounded by her family in her home at Cornerstone of Milford. She was the widow of August J. "Gus" Troyan, who passed away in 2011.
Ann was born and raised in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Leo and Isabelle (Davis) Linberger. She graduated from Rosary College, River Forest, IL and the Katie Gibbs School in Boston and worked for several years before raising her family. Ann and Gus lived in Des Plains, IL and Stamford, CT before settling down in Muncie, IN for 45 years. Ann recently moved to Milford in January 2015 to be closer to family.
She leaves five children, Pat Troyan and spouse Fred Feldbauer of Westport, NY, Mary Easter and spouse Michael Sammarco of Upton, MA, Paul Troyan of Seattle, WA, Jeanie McAdams and spouse Doug of Denton, TX, and Tom Troyan and spouse Kirby of Indianapolis, IN; and two grandchildren, John and Jay Troyan. She was also the mother of the late Timothy Troyan of Muncie and sister of the late Mary Merz of Brooklyn, NY.
Ann was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels for over 40 years and was an active member of St. Mary's Church and other community organizations. She had a lifelong passion for learning, read extensively, and loved travelling with Elderhostel programs to many European and North American venues. Ann was also an avid supporter of classical music in her community.
In 2006, Ann was selected as a finalist for the "Fifty Over 50 Challenge" which honored outstanding citizens who were known to enrich other's people's lives on a daily basis. Ann's giving nature and sense of humor touched everyone in a special way and she will be missed by all.

Service Details
Following cremation, a celebration of Ann's life
will be held at Parson Mortuary in Muncie, IN
on a date in June to be announced.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, OH.
