UPTON- Amelia A. Dexter, 95, of Upton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the St. Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Paul B. Dexter.
Born in S. Grafton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Bomba) Koziol.
Mrs. Dexter worked at Fisherville Mills in S. Grafton, General Electric in Ashland and Timex in Ashland. She also worked part time at Maplewood Cemetery prior to her retirement.
Amelia was a communicant of Holy Angels Church and formerly of St. James Church, S. Grafton. She enjoyed vacationing in Vinalhaven, Maine with her family and was an avid gardener enjoying the outdoors.
Amelia is survived by three grandchildren, Jason P. Dexter of Charlton, Kevin E. Dexter of Pittsburgh, PA and Angela R. Pawlowicz of Worcester; and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Larry P. Dexter and Steven P. Dexter.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 23, from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton followed by a funeral Mass in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon St., Upton at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
