Alfred R. LeBlanc, 52, of Upton, died Sunday morning in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Margaret (Gallagher) LeBlanc and a construction worker for Henderson Builders of Upton for many years.
Mr. LeBlanc was born in Worcester, a son of the late Francis and Vera (Trevett) Jablonski, and grew up in Hopedale. He was a graduate of Hopedale High School and continued his education through the evening school at Blackstone Valley Tech. He loved camping, gardening, and vacationing on Cape Cod.
In addition to his wife of seven years, he leaves three daughters, Samantha and Chelsea Nelson of Upton, and Danielle LeBlanc of Marlboro; two brothers, Francis Jablonski and his wife Joyce of Uxbridge, and John LeBlanc and his wife Johanna Ferrucci of Mendon; a sister, Joan Hamm and her husband Lloyd of Upton; one granddaughter, Madison Avery of Marlboro; and his stepmother, Stacia Jablonski of Hopedale.

Funeral services Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 10 a.m.
in the funeral home at 45 Main Street, Upton.
Following cremation, burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
